Challenge within a challenge: Brightening up a dull January

In the penultimate 30 day challenge I set myself for January I'm writing a positive thought everyday. Reading positive thoughts isn't a new thing to me as I love a good quote. And I kept a folder of things I had up on my bedroom walls at uni, and as you can see my quote game was strong then!

Originally I was to do this challenge with my friend Humaira, but I think life got in the way and I haven’t received any quotes from her. What I'm going to do with all of my quotes I gather is put them in a little book and send it to her. You never know when you need a bit of inspiration.

We both love quotes and our friendship is determined by one that Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City said: ‘Friendships don’t magically last forty years; you have to invest in them.’

I’ll put all the positive thoughts I have on the blog at the end of the month, which will hopefully keep you positive through February.
